Welcome!!
My name is Frances Victory, Ph.D., C.P.C.,
I am a Certified Life Coach, Speaker, Developmental
Psychologist, Adjunct Assistant Professor, and
Parent of A Child with Special Needs.
I have enjoyed working with children
with autism in a variety of different capacities such
as early intervention centers, special education
classrooms, and summer camp programs.
I completed my doctoral degree in
Developmental Psychology at the CUNY Graduate
Center in New York City. My training focused on understanding each individual as a product of the
different forces within their environment.
Through the years I have studied a variety
of factors that influence a child with autism's social
emotional skills; and examined the role of religion
on the daily life, coping skills, and parenting of
mothers and fathers of children with autism.
I am also the proud mother of two boys.
One of my children is diagnosed with autism and
ADHD. My husband and I have faced so many
challenges in the last few years until we could get
our family to where we are now. Making sure our son
has all the resources that he needs. While also
working on our marriage and relationship
with our younger son.
There have been many critics in my life who
have affected my ability to move forward and be
strong. I have learned the hard way that it is
important to always prioritize my needs and
my families needs. So that ultimately...everyone
always maintains a powerful and loving relationship.
